Serv-Ware SWHSO-6KW High Speed Oven – 6,000W Countertop Rapid Cook Oven

The SWHSO-6KW is Serv-Ware's countertop high speed oven, built to turn out hot, crisp, browned food in a fraction of the time a conventional convection oven takes. It pairs dual impingement — high-velocity hot air driven at the food from above and below — with dual magnetron microwave energy under inverter control. The impingement browns and crisps the surface; the microwave heats the center; the inverter holds power steady instead of cycling on and off. The result is a countertop oven that finishes paninis, breakfast sandwiches, wings, empanadas, pastries and 12" pizzas without the footprint, the install cost, or the recovery time of a full-size deck or convection oven.

At 15.83" wide and 20.06" deep, the SWHSO-6KW takes up less counter than most point-of-sale stations. That makes it a practical way to add a hot food program to a space that was never designed to cook — a coffee bar, a convenience store counter, a hotel grab-and-go, a food hall stall, or a bakery that wants to serve hot sandwiches without adding a second cook line.

Who the SWHSO-6KW Is Built For

  • Coffee shops and cafés — warm pastries, breakfast sandwiches and paninis to order without pulling a barista off the bar for ten minutes.
  • Convenience stores and gas stations — cook-to-order hot food at the register instead of holding product under a heat lamp all day.
  • Ghost kitchens and food halls — a full hot-food station in under two square feet of counter.
  • Hotels and breakfast bars — self-serve or attended reheat with programmable, repeatable recipes.
  • Bars and taprooms — wings, pretzels, flatbreads and shareables from a small back-bar footprint.
  • Bakeries and delis — finish and crisp par-baked product to order rather than baking to a forecast.

Key Features

  • Dual Impingement: High-velocity air from above and below for fast, even browning and crisping on both sides.
  • Dual Magnetron: Two magnetrons deliver high, consistent microwave output for shorter heat-through times.
  • Inverter Power Control: Precisely holds and adjusts microwave power instead of cycling, for more consistent results on delicate items.
  • 6-Stage Cooking: Build recipes with up to six stages, each with its own time, temperature and power level.
  • 8" HD TFT Touchscreen: The largest screen in its class, with an icon-driven interface designed to work like a phone — no language barrier for line staff.
  • Auto Top Menu: Frequently used menu groups automatically move to the top of the screen for faster recall during a rush.
  • 12" Pizza Capacity: A 12" W x 20" D x 6.25" H cavity handles a full 12" pizza in a space-friendly footprint.
  • 304 Stainless Cavity: Commercial-grade stainless interior with a built-in cavity light for clear visibility.
  • Removable Air Filters: Filters pull out for cleaning without tools or a service call.
  • Black Exterior Finish: Matte black cabinet that reads as front-of-house equipment, not back-of-house.

Installation & Electrical Requirements

The SWHSO-6KW runs on 208/240V, single phase, 30 amp power and ships with a NEMA 6-30 plug. It needs a dedicated 30-amp circuit — this is not a unit that shares a circuit with a toaster, a blender or a POS terminal. If your counter only has 120V receptacles, budget for an electrician to run a new line before delivery. That is the single most common reason a high speed oven sits in a box for two weeks after it arrives.

There is no gas or water connection. Plan for clearance around the cabinet per the installation manual so the intake and exhaust vents stay unobstructed, and leave room to slide the unit forward to pull and clean the air filters. Confirm your final circuit sizing and receptacle installation with a licensed electrician and your local code authority.

Frequently Asked Questions

What electrical service does the SWHSO-6KW need?

208/240V, 60 Hz, single phase, 30 amps, on a dedicated circuit, with a NEMA 6-30 receptacle. Maximum draw is 6,000 watts. It will not run on a standard 120V outlet.

Is a high speed oven just a commercial microwave?

No. A microwave only heats from the inside out, which is why microwaved food comes out hot but soft. The SWHSO-6KW adds dual impingement — jets of high-velocity hot air hitting the food from above and below at up to 527°F — on top of the microwave energy. The microwave brings the center up to temperature; the impingement browns and crisps the outside. That combination is what lets it produce a crisp panini or a browned pizza in a fraction of conventional oven time.

Can it cook a full 12" pizza?

Yes. The 12" W x 20" D x 6.25" H cavity is sized to accommodate a 12" pizza, which is unusual in a unit with a footprint under 16" wide.

How many cooking stages can I program?

Up to six stages per recipe, with a maximum of 10 minutes per stage and 60 minutes total. Each stage carries its own temperature, time, fan speed and microwave power, so you can, for example, blast a frozen item with high microwave power first and then finish it on impingement alone for color.

How large is the touchscreen and how hard is it to train staff on?

It uses an 8" HD TFT touchscreen — the largest in its class — with an icon-based interface designed to work the way a phone does. Recipes are pictures, not codes. The auto top menu function pushes your most-used items to the top of the screen automatically, so a new hire is finding the right button in seconds rather than reading a laminated cheat sheet.

What is the warranty on the SWHSO-6KW?

One year parts and labor on the entire unit, valid in the United States, for commercial use only. Residential installation voids the warranty.
